HASC 24: A Time For Duets!
Concerts, General, Music — By admin on September 2, 2010 8:06 amThe HASC concert is one of the most anticipated and well established annual musical events of the year. Now entering its 24th year, the producers, Suki & Ding, present an exciting new theme!
This year HASC’s annual concert is billed as “A Time for Duets!” While no information has been released yet regarding who will be performing at this year’s new platform, they have released the initial poster with a brand new original logo as well as the date and location.
The concert will be held January 9th, 2011 at Lincoln Center in New York. For ticket information you can call 718-686–5931 (or 5930). Log on to HASCCONCERT.COM in the coming weeks for more information and more announcements.
Jewish Music Report would love to hear the readers thoughts on who you’d like performing duets with who.
Let’s get the debate on which singers would be good together rolling!

2. shlomo simcha-abie rotenberg (known as aish)
3. helfgot-dudu fisher
4. shwekey-gabay
5. yossi green- all stars (kumzitz like ohel 5757)
6. lipa schmeltzer-yishai lapidot
7. abie rotenberg-yossi green-baruch levine
8. ohad-dedi
9. aron razel-yeedle
10. yonatan razel-shwekey
11. avraham fried-should atleast be the star of the show give him to sing song alone too
.
You’re on the ball with people like Lapidot, Razel (both), and Aish. Everything else would be only a slight adjustment of the same old thing that has been on the HASC stage for year…
Three ideas:
1)Miami Boys Choir and Yeshiva Boys Choir- they could do medleys with a mix of each others songs, switch off with miami singing yeshiva songs and vice versa seeing who sings which songs better, and have a duet with Yerachmiel Begun and Eli Gerstner. But I’m not sure how you could fit all the boys on one stage)
2)Benny Friedman, Avraham Fried, and 8th Day (can it be a trio?)
3) Dovid Gabay and MBD
MBD and Avraham Fried, like in the good old days!!!!
how about Yoshi Bender and Yair Kenig- 2 recent graduates from miami boys choir with alot of talent
or a star soloist from YBC and a star soloist from MBC
or rivi schwebel and his son
Some great suggestions.
I’d love to see Shalsheles duet with the new Shalsheles Jr!
